Our Home and Community
We live in the Glenwood Park community of Atlanta, Georgia. It is a very diverse community with many friendly people, young children and lots of trees. On bright Saturday mornings, everybody comes down to the central piazza for an open market of fresh produce, arts and crafts. Many parents are pushing strollers, walking their dogs or just chatting over coffee and pastries from the corner shop. It is a colorful mix of people from all ethnicities, backgrounds and ages, including close to 50 kids under the age of 3.
Living in the heart of the city, we are only a short drive from many attractions: the Atlanta Zoo, the world’s largest aquarium, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center and the playing fields for Atlanta’s professional football, baseball and basketball teams. Our home is located on a street with wide sidewalks and has a large front porch along with a fenced in backyard. Our dogs Whitney and Tyger love napping in the backyard and can often be found curled up next to each other in the warm sun. Our home is about two blocks from the neighborhood playground and we can’t wait to see the smile on our child’s face coming down the slide.
